Introduced in January 1989 some eighteen months after the Rose's van. The 'Lyle's' livery was the last of eleven code one logos on the Talbot van issued between 1978 and 1989. This version was made in Macau and the total production of the 'Lyle's' model was 48.996.

Livery: (Tampo)
Van sides: 'LYLE'S GOLDEN SYRUP' in white with black surround.
- A tin of syrup in gold, green, white and black.
Cab doors: Company logo of a lion in gold, black and white.
- 'ABRAM LYLE & SONS' and 'SUGAR REFINERS' in white.

Variations/Rarities: Once the tools had been modified to remove the horizontal ridge that had divided the van sides on all previous releases, the extensive Lyle's design was tampo printed onto the side of the van body.
Although a Limited Edition, the factory did produce the last run with black spoked wheels instead of the more common gold effect wheels. This was most likely due to the production of the Y14-3 'Kohle & Koks' (which had black twelve spoke wheels in the main) being produced concurrently with the 'Lyle's'.
